Moweaqua Golf Course opened in 1993, but the land was purchased in 1991. The course started out as a simple, but challenging, nine hole course. In 2000 the the Village of Moweaqua purchased land that bordered the course to the west and in 2003 the back nine was built. Golfers now have an 18 hole layout. The course is kept in great shape by course superintendent Mike Jenkins, and his staff. The original course that opened in 1993 is the current front nine; the layout has stayed the same, but the hole sequence has changed. See the chart below to get an idea of the changes. In 2012, the course changed the front and back nines, making the back nine the front nine, and making the front nine the back nine.
Moweaqua Pro Shop offers anything a golfer will need. Our golf shop features a wide selection of golf clubs, balls, accessories and apparel. The golf shop carries a variety of brands, featuring Callaway, Cobra, Mizuno, Ping, Titleist TaylorMade and more. The golf shop also offers professional club fitting. The pro shop is open when the course is open.

It’s a great course and Brad and his staff are awesome!!! He has great deals on golf clubs… If you need a new set and he doesn’t have them he will find them for you at a great price… It’s always very pleasant when you walk in there… The tournaments are always a blast!!!
Low cost alternative for golf. Well taken care of but not manicured. Almost always room for a tee time. Well stocked club house with fair prices. Food and drink including beer available. They even have some gaming machines. Worth the drive.
Very fun course. Challenging enough for an inexperienced golfer such as myself, yet not so challenging that I’ll be losing golf balls all day.
